Well, such is life, as you may have noticed if you have been lucky enough to visit this year's BP Awards at the National Portrait Gallery, 'Frank' is not there. Close, but no cigar! I made it to a shortlist of the last 178, but there is only space for approx 55 paintings in the exhibition. Out of around 3000 entries, that's not bad.
